7.1 Earthquake Hits Alaska [Earthquake]
The US Geological Survey has reported a 7.1 magnitude earthquake striking the Aleutian Islands southeast of Atka, Alaska. It hit at 6.2 miles underwater, but the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center hasn't issued any destructive tsunami warning. More »
